About Shepherd’s Pasture Ministry
Shepherd’s Pasture Ministry is a Christ-centered, Bible-believing fellowship located in the heart of Canajoharie, New York. We are a non-denominational church committed to the faithful preaching of God’s Word, the centrality of Jesus Christ, and the transforming power of the Gospel.This ministry is led by Pastor Virginia “Ginny” Ogden, who has faithfully served the people of this village for over 14 years. With a shepherd’s heart and a deep love for Christ and His people, she leads this growing ministry with conviction, care, and a steadfast commitment to the truth of Scripture.Our desire is simple: to gather people around Scripture, prayer, and the worship of the living God. In a world that is constantly shifting, we hold firmly to the unchanging truth of the Bible as our final authority for faith and life.While we are non-denominational, our worship reflects a deep appreciation for the richness of historic Christian faith. Each week we gather with reverence and joy, reading Scripture, praying together, and celebrating the Lord’s Supper as a regular reminder of Christ’s finished work on the cross.Shepherd’s Pasture is a place where you will find authentic community, meaningful worship, and clear, biblical teaching. We believe the church is not built on trends or cultural pressures, but on the solid foundation of God’s Word.

At Shepherd’s Pasture Ministry, our worship is centered on God and shaped by His Word. Each gathering is marked by a sense of reverence, simplicity, and joy as we come before the Lord together.Our services follow a thoughtful and meaningful rhythm, drawing from the richness of historic Christian worship while being expressed in a fresh and accessible way for today. You will hear Scripture read aloud, prayers offered with intention, and songs that reflect both the depth and beauty of the Christian faith.Worship at Shepherd’s Pasture is not rushed or performance driven. Instead, we seek to create space for God’s people to slow down, reflect, and respond to Him. Every element of the service points us to Christ, His holiness, His grace, and His finished work on the cross.We celebrate the Lord’s Supper regularly as a visible reminder of the Gospel, and we gather with a shared expectation that God is present and at work among His people.Whether you are new to church or have walked with Christ for many years, you will find a worship environment that is both rooted and renewing, grounded in truth and alive with the hope of the Gospel.

As One NetworkShepherd’s Pasture Ministry is part of the As One Network, a faithful gathering of local pastors who have been meeting every Wednesday at 10:00 AM in Canajoharie for many years.This group brings together pastors from a variety of ministry backgrounds, united by a shared commitment to Christ and a desire to serve our community together. Each week, we take time to check in with one another, encourage one another in ministry, and pray for each church and the people we are called to shepherd.Out of this unity, we also work together to serve the next generation. Throughout the year, we host community events for youth, including bowling outings, movie days during school breaks, and a joint Vacation Bible School where each pastor contributes to teaching and leading.Our heart is not only to strengthen one another as leaders, but to be a visible witness of Christian unity in our community.If you are in need of prayer, you are always welcome to stop by on Wednesday mornings.
